(Bias Alert: I favor Mitt Romney in the California primary.)

My daughter challenged me to give my most positive impressions on the candidates.

John McCain: This war hero loves his country more than self . . . and that is a great deal.

Mike Huckabee: From Bryan’s class, he uses Bryan’s voice to advance Theodore Roosevelt’s politics.

Fred Thompson: He is at least the suit of clothes for the right ideas.

Rudy Giuliani:  His political virtues are greater than his vices, and his vices are very great.

Ron Paul: The virtues of limited government are confirmed by even the thought of Paul as president.

Barak Obama: If we had a constitutional monarch with the powers of Britain’s ruler, I would vote for Obama for king.

Hillary Clinton: A nation that elected Harding and Nixon would be sexist to think her character unique in a presidential candidate.
