I had the pleasure of being interviewed by Focus on the Family’s “Citizen Link” about the upcoming GodblogCon. Here’s an excerpt from that interview:
Q. Why should people attend the conference?
A. Most people probably feel that this is a passing trend, a fad. I’m afraid if we went back and looked at pastors in the 1920s, these were the kind of things people were saying about talking movies, for example. I’m hoping that pastors and Christian leaders will come out, see what’s going on and get a vision for not being behind. Instead of spending the next hundred years playing catch up on what will become old technology pretty fast, we can be involved in the ground floor.

If you have not registered for GodblogCon, do so today. The new media is revolutionizing the means by which news is distributed, ideas are discussed, and stories are told within media. Christians should not spend their energies redeeming traditional media when they should be shaping new media instead. GodblogCon is for Christians who understand this and desire to know more about the technology and how to use it well. Again, if you have not yet registered, do so right away and secure your spot at this excellent conference. See you in November!
